In Loving Memory of My Daddy William “Billy” Robert Short Jr. May 23, 1965 – October 22, 2025 My daddy, William “Billy” Robert Short Jr., went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2025. He was a mechanic and carpenter with hands that could fix anything and a heart that loved the best way it knew how. He was funny, stubborn, and full of life—always telling dad jokes, helping anyone he could, and tearing up during movies. He leaves behind his four children—me, Pamela Smith (Justin), Jennifer Garza (Rueben), Bradley Short, and Will Short (Maddison)—along with his sister, Linda Brumley, thirteen grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Fanny, and his sister, Deborah. He’ll always be my daddy, always loved, and forever missed.
