In Loving Memory of Mark Carlo
Born on April 15, 1960, to Muriel and Robert Carlo, Mark brought light, laughter, and love into the world from the very start. He completed his earthly journey on August 28, 2025, in Earle, Arkansas, leaving behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Mark was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Muriel and Robert Carlo, and
his cherished wife, Donna Carlo.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Linda Billingsley, Nancy Pendergrass, and
Robert Carlo. His Brother in Law: Kenneth Sims. His life long friend: Annette Tharp.
Mark’s legacy lives on through his daughters, April Michelle Pennington (Catfish) of West Memphis, Arkansas, and Ashley Rachelle Cox (Matthew) of Earle, Arkansas. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Taylor Reed Armstrong (Kaylee) and Olivia Grace Pennington, who brought immense joy to his life.
To know Mark was to feel instantly at home. He never met a stranger—only friends he hadn’t gotten the chance to talk to yet. His kind spirit, quick wit, and generous nature were a constant comfort to those around him.
Whether he was in the kitchen creating mouthwatering dishes or offering a helping
hand with a problem no one else could solve, Mark’s presence was a gift to everyone around him. He was a man of quiet strength, remarkable talent, and endless generosity.
His cooking and baking brought people together, and his meals were more than just
food—they were experiences, shared with love.
Mark had a deep passion for working with his hands, and his mechanical talent was unmatched. Whether he was repairing engines, building something from scratch, or troubleshooting a problem no one else could figure out, he had a gift for bringing things back to life—and doing it with patience and pride. If it was broken, Mark
could fix it.
A man of many gifts, Mark gave of himself freely, never asking for much in return.
He will be remembered not only for what he could do, but for who he was—steadfast, warm-hearted, and deeply loved. He will be missed more than words can say, but his spirit lives on in the many lives
he touched.
